STAR-certified equipment, run by techs who have done this on the same corner for 25 years. Gas, hybrid and diesel.

Before you drive over
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time we're open and we'll take you in order. Most visits are done in about 15 minutes.
How much does it cost?
$49.75 plus certificate fees for most cars 2000 and newer. Call us with your year and model and we'll quote you in about ten seconds.
What happens if my car fails?
We're a test-only station, so we don't perform emissions repairs. We'll walk you through the result and you can take it to a licensed repair shop.
What do I need to bring?
Your vehicle registration or the renewal notice the DMV mailed you. That's it — bring the car and we'll handle the rest.
Do you test hybrids and diesels?
Yes. We test hybrid and diesel vehicles alongside standard gas cars and trucks, plus change-of-ownership and out-of-state inspections.
What is a STAR station?
The DMV sends some vehicles to STAR-certified stations specifically. We're one of them, so we can test any vehicle — including the ones directed to STAR.
